Ireland, a beautiful country with many great golf courses to play. Fly into Dublin drive to the northwest part of the country starting golf in Ballyliffin playing both the Ballyliffin Old Course & Glashedy Course...both are stunning, but challenging courses. Next stop is Donegal and stay at the Rossapenna Hotel and Golf resort. The hotel/golf package is a great deal playing 3 courses Old Tom Morris, Sandy Hills Links and Portsalon. From here head southwest to Cong and stay at the Lodge of Ashford Castle, very nice & much more affordable than the Castle itself. There are many golf courses to choose from in the area with a quaint Irish town so you get the feel of the countryside. After Cong drive south to Galway and play a little golf and enjoyed the food in the city. Galway
might be Ireland’s most charming city: compact, walkable and filled to the brim with independent shops and restaurants that walk the fine line between cool and kitsch. Cozy, old-fashioned pubs showcase the city’s ever-growing selection of craft beers, chefs serve up west-of-Ireland ingredients in creative new ways, and almost every building housing a modern cafe or new atelier has a centuries-old story behind it. It’s not a city in which to hustle; rather, it’s one in which to enjoy a locally brewed pint, relish the excellent seafood and get your fill of views of the rushing River Corrib as it sweeps out to Galway Bay.
