Initially we were a bit concerned about the riots in Istanbul days before we arrived, but we were pleasantly surprised to see that it had cleared and we had no problems. Food was good, but the bread was the best....best I've ever had. The people of Turkey eat a lot of bread and now I can see why. https://www.trafalgar.com/usa/tours/greek-island-hopper/summer-2014 again with Trafalgar. We chose the Greek Island tour so that we would have free time to see and enjoy the islands. We were not ready for a cruise so this was a great way to see the beautiful islands. Trafalgar did a great job, but the hotels were not in the best of locations and were just ok. If you want to see the Greek Islands, Mykonos & Santorini, this is a great way to do so. After we finished our 9 day tour of Turkey we flew to Athens Greece where we did an 11 day Greek Island Tour.
